Idaho Real Estate Exam Prep

In order to obtain an Idaho Real Estate license, you must:

  • Be 18 years old
  • Have a high school degree or GED
  • Not have been convicted of a felony
  • Complete both Sales Pre-license Module 1 and 2
  • Pass a Federal Background check ($29.25)
  • Pass the state license exam ($60)

    Idaho Career Institute uses internet technologies to link classroom in Boise and Idaho Falls. Classes are taught from either location. This creates a more dynamic classroom environment because of the increased diversity of students and issues discussed in class. The Boise Real Estate training location features Smart board technology as well as surround sound audio systems and is WiFi connected for your convenience.

    PR001: Sales Pre-license Module 1

    Real Estate Module 1 (45 Hours). This is a required course for individuals interested in getting an Idaho Real Estate License. The class is an intensive overview of real estate terminology, real estate law, title transfer, real estate finance and home ownership. The class is packed full of information and is taught by some of the most experienced real estate brokers and agents in Idaho. This class is perfect for anyone interested in real estate fundamentals, Selling a home "For Sale By Owners" or people interested in pursuing a real estate career. Become a Real Estate Guru today.

    PR002: Sales Pre-license Module 2
    Credits: 45

    Real Estate Module 2 (45 Hours) is designed for real estate students that have completed module 1 and are working towards becoming a licensed real estate agent in Idaho. Students should have a basic understanding of the fundamental concepts of real estate ownership. Module 2 is a hands on, practical application for real estate learning. You will learn how to get a listing, how to fill out a contract, what makes an actual contract in Idaho and pitfalls to avoid. You will learn how to show property, avoid potential issues and liabilities and how to best serve customers and clients. You will get hands on experience with closing statements and tour a local title company so you will better understand the real estate sales process. This class will be a ton of fun for anyone that enjoy's real estate.
